OUR CHAPTER
The  New  Orleans Chapter was founded May 16, 1970, with 8 charter members. We  promote  aviation,  education,  safety,  and  careers by sponsoring and participating  in  activities such as Girl Scout Day, Flying Buddy Seminars and Wings Days,  to name a few.

Today  the Chapter has members throughout greater New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana.  Our  members'  aviation  experience  ranges from former airline pilots  to  student  pilots  and includes a variety of careers, from flight instructing,  corporate piloting, accounting, medicine, government affairs, aircraft maintenance, teaching, and homemaking.

The  sisterhood that exists between us extends beyond once-a-month meetings and  chapter activities; we celebrate each other's personal triumphs, share each  other's  tragedies, and support each other in any way we can.  And we love to fly together!

MEETINGS
New Orleans Chapter meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Lakefront Airport, though since Hurricane Katrina meetings are in Uptown New Orleans.  We start with themed pot-luck refreshments (this is New Orleans!) Any woman pilot, spouses and significant others are always welcome.  Contact us for directions.
